VENICE BEACH,CA.—- On September 15th, 2018, former Los Angeles Laker Smush Parker returned to the city where he teamed up for two seasons with Kobe Bryant to hold his free Smush Parker Elite Kid’s Basketball Clinic.
Dishing out assists was the electrifying southpaw Kaylin Brown, whose feistiness and accuracy from long-distance makes the Long Beach City College Vikings Women’s Basketball team legitimate contenders.
RunTheTriangle.com, LLC partnered with the Pass It Forward Foundation in Inglewood, CA to empower youth through basketball. Brown supported the coaching staff from Pass It Forward during clinic basketball demonstrations, enabling the scholars to be influenced by a young local charismatic collegiate athlete, as well as glean from a cagey former NBA player from Brooklyn.
‘KB3,’ a journalism major, provided videography support for RunTheTriangle.com, and a moment which may be the precursor to a successful 2018-19 Vikings Women’s Basketball season,
K.K. got a bucket on Smush Parker.
